Chris Colvin

Director of Basketball Operations, Chicago

Chris Colvin was born in Evanston, Illinois, and raised in Chicago. He attended St. Andrew’s Elementary School and Whitney Young High School, where he led the team to the 4A State Championship (2009). A First Team All-State selection, he was ranked the No. 1 point guard in Illinois, a McDonald’s All-American nominee, and the No. 16 point guard nationally. Colvin earned a full scholarship to Iowa State University before transferring to Arizona State University, where he completed his collegiate basketball career.

KYLE CAIN

Director of Basketball Operations, Chicago

Kyle Cain was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, and began playing basketball at the age of 7. He graduated from Marcus Garvey Elementary School in 2005, then attended Simeon Career Academy before transferring to Thornton Fractional North High School, where he graduated in 2009.

After high school, Kyle continued his basketball journey at New Hampton Prep School in 2010. His performance earned him a full athletic scholarship to Arizona State University, where he played for the Sun Devils from 2010 to 2012. Kyle later transferred to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he redshirted one season and played the next before pursuing professional opportunities overseas.

As a professional, Kyle competed in Israel, Switzerland, and France, gaining international experience and continuing to develop his game at the pro level.
